ERIK INNES, FRAIA

DIRECTOR

Erik Innes has over 25 years experience across a board range of project types. Following graduation from the University of Canberra in 1998, Erik has worked with several prominent Canberra practices.
Erik has been involved in a number of public institutional projects including The Anglican School Googong, University of Canberra Cooma Campus Masterplan, Legal Aid Fitout and Mother Teresa Primary School Harrison. His recent project at the ANU, the Australian Centre for China in the World, won the 2014 AIA Romaldo Giurgola Award for Public Architecture.
Erik has an interest in the development of architectural projects with the application of sustainable principals and looks to implement sustainable practices to all projects which he works on. Erik’s contribution to the AIA and Canberra community has been recognised through his elevation to Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects; RAIA ACT Chapter President’s Award in 2004, and RAIA ACT Chapter Young Architect’s Award in 2006.
